Hangzhou GenLight MedTech Medical was founded in Hangzhou in 2020, and is a high-tech platform enterprise dedicated to commercializing cutting-edge technologies in the fields of neuroscience and neurosurgery. The research and management are led by overseas high-level talents.
About Genlight
The company has built advanced technology platforms in three areas: brain-machine control, high-end medical lasers, and brain-machine chips, offering innovative medical solutions for various neurological diseases.
The developed products include the magnetic resonance-guided laser ablation surgery system (LITT) for minimally invasive brain surgery, as well as the implantable closed-loop responsive neurostimulation system for the treatment of epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. Some of these products have entered formal clinical trial stages.
Currently, the company has about 170 employees, and research and office space of approximately 3000 square meters, as well as a production site of approximately 1300 square meters that meets GMP standards. More than 160 patents have been applied for and obtained.
